Stewardship
Stewardship is a way of life — a recognition that all we have is a gift from God, entrusted to us to use wisely for his glory and the good of others. At St. Pius X Parish, we are called to be good stewards of our time, talent, and treasure.
Time
Every person has the same 168 hours in a week. How we spend our time reflects our priorities and values. We invite parishioners to dedicate time to prayer, participation in the sacraments, service to the parish and community, and nurturing their families in the faith.
- Attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days
- Pray daily — even just 10 minutes of quiet prayer
- Volunteer at the Food Pantry, in faith formation, or in parish ministries
- Participate in a small faith-sharing group or Bible study
Talent
God has given each of us unique gifts and abilities. We are called to use them in service of the Body of Christ. Whether you are a musician, teacher, carpenter, accountant, cook, or simply someone with a generous heart, there is a place for you in our parish ministries.
Visit our Ministry Directory to explore ways to get involved, or contact the parish office to speak with our volunteer coordinator.
Treasure
Financial stewardship means giving back to God a portion of what he has first given us. The Catholic Church's traditional guide is the tithe — returning 10% of one's income, though any generous, proportional giving is an act of stewardship.
Your financial contributions to St. Pius X Parish directly fund the ministry, maintenance, and mission of our parish community. Give conveniently online through OSV Offertory, or by using the weekly collection envelopes available in the pews.
Legacy Stewardship
A gift through your estate is the ultimate act of stewardship — ensuring that the mission of the Church continues beyond your lifetime. Learn more about legacy giving at St. Pius X Parish.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." — 2 Corinthians 9:7
