Mark 9:30-37

Instead of trying to come to an understanding about what Jesus is telling them in this second prediction, the disciples get caught up in themselves, arguing about who is the greatest. Jesus brings a little child to the center of the conversation and tells them that they need first the humility of a child.

Awaken the child in me. Help me to be a humble servant, especially with those I deem undeserving of my care and attention.
