Matthew 26:14-25

Judas asks about the price on Jesus’ head. Satisfied with the answer he begins to watch and wait for the moment. It is apparent that Jesus is very much in charge of the Passover celebration. He tells the disciples what to do to prepare for the meal and what is to follow in keeping with the fulfillment of God’s plan.

“Surely it is not I Lord?” Where is the shame, the guilt? Why did Judas feel it necessary to chime in with the rest? Perhaps I need to examine myself in light of Judas’ hypocritical behavior at the supper.
