Matthew 15:21-28

The woman who is not Jewish recognizes Jesus and acknowledges him for who he truly is. Her daughter is possessed, and she asks that he heal her. Jesus rebuffs her. His mission is to the Jewish people. She persists in prayer: “Lord, help me.” Jesus responds to her because of her great faith and heals her daughter.

It is easy to forget that your love is not just for a select group of people. Your love is for everyone.
