Matthew 23:13-22

Jesus criticizes the hypocrisy of some of the scribes and Pharisees by pronouncing woes on them. What they say and do may seem righteous, but their intentions are anything but. They “talk the talk” but do not “walk the walk.” Worse still, they lead many down the wrong path.

I pray to be worthy of your calling and always to lead others into communion with you.
