Matthew 19:23-30

Jesus tells the disciples that riches can be an obstacle to entrance to the Kingdom, just as it would be impossible for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. No one can earn the kingdom, no matter how rich. It is God’s gift, freely given.

I am weighted down by what I have and concern about what I do not have. Lift this burden from me.
