Luke 24:35-48

In this continuation of yesterday’s Gospel, the two disciples return to Jerusalem to recount what had taken place. Suddenly Jesus is standing in the midst of all of the disciples. He knows that they are startled so he offers them a greeting of peace. They still do not understand so he shows them his hands and feet. He recounts all that he had told them about his being the fulfillment of the law and the prophets.

I pray this day for all those witnesses who because of their belief and willingness to profess that belief brought me to you and your holy Church.
