John 15:1-8

This gospel takes the reader to the multiple allegorical references from the Old Testament of Israel being Yahweh’s vine. Jesus is the vine, and his disciples are the branches. It is notable that the word “remain” is repeated eight times in these few verses. A loving and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ is the heart of discipleship.

How could I think to live without you? How could anyone? All that I am and all that I do is because of you.
