John 6:1-15

The theme of the sixth chapter of John’s gospel is centered on Jesus as the Bread of Life. It begins with the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves. This miracle has Eucharistic overtones and is the only miracle recounted in all four of the gospels.

I do not ever have to feel hungry if only I avail myself of your word and your presence. I do have to remember and serve those who are hungry physically and spiritually.
